Azriel - God of Destruction Empty Azriel - God of Destruction

Post  Persephone Fri Jun 22, 2012 11:47 pm

Name of Character: Azriel (Austin Muse when on earth)

God/Goddess of what: God of Destruction.

Parents: Father is Ares, God of War. Mother is Erdia, Goddess of Hate. But was raised by Athena, Goddess of Kindness

Physical Description: The finely tattooed runes on Azriel’s face are in formal angelic script and translate, as his name, to “Whom God Helps.” These symbols inlaid upon
his skin are a combination of the marks of Death and of Destruction twisted into one effigy. His body is finely built and his hair is like his fathers. A shaggy, deep black that would make one think that his hair took the color of the night sky. His eyes though are a deep gold, crimson like his mothers, but they aren’t filled with hate like hers.. His eyes read mercy and a unending emptiness.

    Personal Description:
Azriel is the most enigmatic and mysterious of the six Brother Gods in his division, thus stories and sightings of him are as rare as his actual tasks. He is a solitary figure who does not hold many offices or titles compared to his heavenly brethren, and this serves his ultimate purpose. He is the least utilized, but most feared of his Brothers, for he holds the power of life and death, even those who call him brother.

Other Traits/Habits: Ignoring his lack of social skills and strange ways, Azriel is a very optimistic kind of guy. He has the tendency to even try to cheer people up. One downfall though is that he is very dark in personality and is often wearing dark clothes to express it.

    Sample Role-play:

“War…? Why would anyone want to force such a thing at this time of day? Plus, it’s my Fathers job to take care of it when it gets this carried away.” Azriel grumbled as his eldest brother Michael scolded him for not taking care of the wrongs before it got this far.

“They are not at that level of war yet, my Brother. Take the lives of the wrong doing so that the prayers from the innocent do not stop.” Michael commanded and turned away from the scene.

Azriel looked deeply into the pool of water before him. From this he could see the two sides of war reading for a meeting that would end up in blood and hate. The only way to rid of this scene was to destroy it… This was what Azriel was made to do.

Azriel lightly raised his head in a motion that many would take as a beginning of a nod. Instantly there was an intense light dazzling the field in the center of where the two teams would join as one in war. The light was many times brighter than sunlight and seems almost thick, almost like a liquid as it began to tunnel up into the sky. Soldiers lying close to the atomic blast didn’t even see it coming as their eyes closed and turned away just as they were blown into the tunnel of dust, destruction and death. Azriel watched the scene turn from hate to panic as bodies blew like tumbleweeds and rushed to try and escape.

“You had your chance to change.. You’ll pay for not taking that chance..” Azriel said to himself quietly as he turned the pool of water. A single ripple appeared from his touch. The line of water glowing a intense crimson.

A sudden flash of heat so intense that the land itself broke out into red glow flowed from the tunnel of dust clouds. The head of the tunnel began to glow a hideous purple color as some red and blue flashes broke through the darkness from cars blowing up or tanks being tossed into flames.

Azriel watched as the heat slowly broke a bit and was replaced with a wind so strong it knocked down the survivors in a scurry. A crease made its way onto Azriel’s face. A frown none the less.

“I’m sorry… It shouldn’t be this way… I’m so sorry..” He said under his breath and turned away from the pool of water. Disgusted with himself.
